THE STORY
I am a fourth generation Texan. My family is a member of the Austin 300 colony. Raised in a ranching background, which developed a live long interest in ranching, cowboys, native American Indians, and an appreciation of wildlife.
Having lived in many parts of Texas, I have developed and enjoyed an interest in the local birds predominate in those areas.
As an artist I experimented and developed technics to create original birds using real bird feathers. Each creation is unique, and representative of the species selected. Being fascinated with the miniature size of the birds in wildlife, I can create an original sculpture of the bird of your choice.
Having been blessed with some artistic abilities, I do wood carvings and decoys of birds, stone Indian pipes, and reproduce Indian artifacts. I enjoy creating western art in “pen and ink drawings”.
Western bronze sculpting is another passion of mine. I enjoy painting Indian scenes on Elk and Deer hides.
One hobby I enjoy is collecting antique Cowboy Spurs.
